Nick Godbehere, a Cal-bound senior at Shafter High, qualified fourth in both the boys discus throw and shot put at the CIF State Championships at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Godbehere achieved marks of 186-1 (56.71m) and 59-1.50 (18.02m) to advance to both finals.
