Nick Godbehere, a Cal-bound senior at Shafter High in California, won the boys gold section of the shot put wit a mark of 58-3.50 (17.76m) at the West Coast Relays at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium. Godbehere also took third in the gold section of the discus throw with a 174-7 (53.21m) effort.
